A SAD Story About Vioxx

A very good family friend passed away a couple years ago. He died of a Heart Attack at age 54. It was a sudden thing. He had never been sick. He had never ever had any heart trouble ever.
So fast forward....I find out this week he took this Vioxx crap for four years..... :hammer2:
It really SUCKS...His wife has already filed a lawsuit. Not that it will help him. :frown:

I was trying to avoid the surgery & was given Vioxx. Luckily the Dr. changed my script' about 3 months into it.

i have been on vioxx and bextra since november of 99... dr changed me to one called mobic about 6 months ago.. scary shit to think about

I have a close cousin of rheumatoid arthritis and my rheumatologist prescribed Vioxx for me for a few months. It just didn't do anything for me, so I went back to good old Ibuprofen. I am damn glad it didn't work too, believe me. :idea:

Viagra for oxen......... .... It reduces inflamation due to arthritis. At least that is what I've been told..
