the model number is 986704 thanks , I need more spares!

Does the King Cobra outdrive have a water pick up in the lower unit? someone told me only the Cobra drives do? I am bolting a 598 Tall deck to one next month!!!!
What year is it? If it is a late King 92-96 it will have a water pickup in the lower unit. Image of lower unit (http://www.dougrussell.com/partscata...1381,1382,1383, 1384,1385,1386,1387,1388,1389,1390,1391,1392,1393, 1394,1395) I hope it is a late unit since they have cone clutches and the early one use dogs and don't shift nearly as smooth.
