With the recent disaster over in Asia, earthquakes, tidal waves, the folks there need certain items, is it possible for us as a group to help out?
Can we get together a bunch of clothes, heck it was just Xmas i am sure we got stuff we didn't want or need , and if we did need it we have stuff to give away. They need clothes water medicines and money, now if we can just find the proper place and or program to give our stuff to.
I don't want to give to any organization thats going to be a rip off or keep stuff for themselves.
Anyone know of a reputable group or organization that we can give a helping hand too?
MikeVG PM me with any and all info so if we do this we do it right.
    Thanks MikeVG

These guys seem to me to be on the level (https://www.americares.org/donate/?i...0Relief%20Fund)
The model is time-tested, cost-effective and experience-driven. In the recently completed fiscal year, auditing discloses that each $100 in cash contributions enabled AmeriCares to deliver more than $3,000 in emergency relief, including medicines, medical supplies, clothing, footwear, blankets and nutritional supplements.

Ya know, last night I was watching the news and they were showing some people getting clothes together and a distribution center in LA that was donating medicines and first aid supplies to send over there. Then they interviewed some guy from the Red Cross, and he said "yeah that's nice and everything, but what we really need is money to help these people". I thought, what an ungreatful f'n dickhead ! Don't ya think ??
