I have a 21' Renegade with a carburated Indmar 454 HO engine. I'd like to supercharge it. Any advice would be appreciated.

Keep boost low! I have a indmar 454 with a small B&M on top. If your going to put a blower on it, put a boost guage on as well. Keep the boost conservative (I run no more than 5 lbs), otherwise you will melt down those cast pistons.

If its the mag engine, it has forged pistons, forged crank, etc.

If possible, retorque all your head bolts. Find out for sure if you have forged pistons or not. Make sure you know what your total timing is at wide open speed. Put a temp sender on the cylinder head if possible. Run big jets and larger needle and seat.
AND GET A FUEL PRESSURE GAGE!!!!!!
6 PSI AT W.O.T. OR KABOOM!!!!
