    Kendall GT 20/50 for the cold months...Kendall 40 wt. when its' boiling hot.

    Seloc marine textbook say's SE40 above 70 degrees and SE30 from 32-70 degrees.
    Never mix straight weight with multi-viscosity.

    Kinda depends on your regional temp and the age of the engine. I have an older motor, so I use 40 weight. Straight grade, no multi grade. Everyone has a different opinion but as long as it has oil in it you'll probably be ok.

    i run kendall straight 50w....i have been told that the penzoil 25-50 is really good also.
