has anyone had a bad experience with a machine shop?
What shops are reliable and trustworthy?
I had heads done by bill's cylinder heads and he gave me one head that is cracked and now won't return my phone calls for warranty.whats up with that :devil:

That is the worst place in town for heads. Call this guy he is not cheap but when you walk out the stuff is done right. 602-938-7316 ask for Mike.

You either got the driveway warranty or the 5 year warranty.
The driveway warranty covers you until you leave their driveway. The 5 year warranty covers everything but parts and labor.

If you put the crank in and it didn't spin free or you didn't check bearing clearances or make sure it was straight or tilted thats your falt. I don't trust anybodys work when there is a lot bucks at stake. You should of cought that no matter what. You build motors right?

don't call, just show up. heard bad about them when I moved to Phoenix in 94. Just stayed away. If you find a good machinist mileage and time don't matter, its a trust thing.

Johnathan, I already told you we can take care of it really easy! Drive over there and I will chuck that head at his old ass. Maybe he will think twice about selling a cracked head and takeing care of the customer!

I use RPM in tempe and they do great work. Like all the good shops they are $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ but the work sure is pretty
