can the cracks be repaired? welded?
I have one with a cracked bottom portion (it fell). The top is still good, in fact the bottom is only cracked in one place and would be an easy fix for a good welder.

YUP weld and polish, you will never tell it was cracked
On mine the cracks are on the bottom also, i though about seeing if i could get it welded but then the problem came to mind with it being true and seating properly.
Anybody know of any good places in orange county that can do a good job welding it?

contact HUD in the v-drive section. i think he has one of those
I had a crack in the hat from a back fire in same manifold from my Chevelle. I had it welded then polished. Never new unless looking in the inside with carbs off.
