Here are some photo's I snapped of Eliminators 25' Daytona that went 144mph. I asked the sales guy how much for this boat, and the price he told me is basically 1000 bucks per mile and hour. Anyways, I sure like the gelcoat on this boat.

That does look really nice! Anyone know who did the rigging on this- Pfaff, Eliminator, Bob himself- it sure looks high quality from the pics! nice pics HBJet!! That engine looks f**king sweet- detail is great and the anodized diamond plate looks killer! All that for a little sum of 144K- what are we all waiting for?

Nice ride. What is the story with that blower? I don't believe I have ever seen a blower like that. It looks like siamese twins (two blowers joined together). I am not a big fan of the way it looks, but then again it did run 144mph.

I like the boats that are going in the mid 100's. What I don't like is that every damn boat has to have gay ass flames on it. Flames are way played out. They were original about 2-3 years ago. Now everybody puts them on everything. FFFFFRRRRRRRRRRTTTTT.

Thanks. What is the advantage of the quad rotor? Is it some how more efficient? At what point to roots style blowers produce more power than the Quad (ie: 8-71, 10-71, 14-71)? All the drag boats still run traditional style blowers, they must still produce the most power. Just curious. Thanks.

The screw compressor is more efficient then any comparable roots style blower. It also doesn't heat the air charge up as much. A lot of guys still run the roots because of initial costs. NHRA won't even allow these blowers on the fuel cars. They banned them in the mid 80's when people were just starting to play with the PSI screw blower. NHRA was trying to keep speeds in check and they saw this new blower would probably have an effect on that attempt.
Engine shop I used pulled a quad rotor off of a 1300 hp motor and put on a 14-71. Motor lost 150 horsepower.
