The Colorado River flow will be reduced from Davis Dam to 2050 cubic feet per second (cfs.) This is the expected flow until March 8 due to wet downstream conditions. More makeup into the river, and less demand. Lake Havasu is at 448 feet, maximum is 450.1 feet.
This river flow has us at 16 feet down from the floor at the pump wells, the low alarm is at 17.25 feet down. Pump design maximum is 19 feet down.
The Bureau of Reclamation calculated the present river level, above sea level, at our river pump station to be 493.12'. They also calculate that if they should drop the flow to 1300 cfs, the level will drop to 492.19 feet.
So far so good. Hopefully this will remain steady through the winter to give us some much needed H2O. If they drop the river much more though, we'll be sucking mud through our river pumps. It sure is worth it!!!!!!!!
