    Boat is a 2001 22' Laser with 123 hours...
    Thanks for any help as i called Essex and they want like $550.. Is that high??

    550 is in the neighborhood....
    check out GT perf, prime marine, or B&D (from what ***boat has taught me)

    Seems high to me, when I had my I/O I think I paid around 350.00 for the 50 hour service in SD...

    ya i guess you guys are right, that is in the neighborhood.. i just called another place and they were quoting me $650 for the 100 hr service... :cry:

    Funny, I just talked to Essex today about an appointment. $550 was what he told me as well.
    They said 1-2 weeks turn around and the earliest appt that I could get was March 15th.

    Just brought my boat in for service @ Pacific Marine Repair & Boat Yard. They are removing the outdirve, checking bearings, bellows, alignment, etc... Also having them change fluids, impellor and housing, and water pump. Final quote less than $400.00
