newbie on the forums

Hello all:
Just wanted to say hello and ask a few ?'s. For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to how to post a pic in my signature. The other question I had was how do I get an avatar? Do I have to be here a while or is there something else I missed. Thanks in advance for your help.

For avatar go to User Control Panel and edit avatar. Can't help ya beyond that. Welcome!

Welcome, just watch out, it's addictive!!!! :smile: As for the avatar adn posting pic's, do a search, there has been plenty of info passed on this in the recent past (including all the help I got figuring it out). Now for the important stuff, what kind of boat do you have and where are the pic's of your wife/girlfriend/significant other/or any other pic's for us to look at????? :devil:

Hold on tight, it can be a bumpy ride...
To post a pic, you must upload a pic to a website such as hotboatpics.com. Once you have uploaded the image, select it and open it. Once it is open, put your mouse on the pic and select right mouse button and pic "Properties" this shows the complete URL. Highlight the URL and "COPY" then when you want to add that image to your post, select the image icon and once the URL dialogue box pops open, "PASTE" in the URL of the image location.
