1/4" outlet would scare me to death. But at the price...consider just having a nice big 1/2" bung welded into it where the 1/4"was. At least 3/8". Bigger is better.
I know this is a long url but copy and paste it and check out the spun aluminum fuel tank. I wanted to get the 11 gallon one and mount it in the air behind the engine.
Is the 1/4" outlet big enough?? Is a return nessessary, and when are they used? The tank vents through the cap.
Imco wants way too much and and i need a tank!! This is cheap and wont look bad once i make a mount and candy purple powdercoat the bracket straps and the mount??
If your questioning this idea, please explain why? You guys are always very knowledgable.
WILL THIS WORK FOR A BOAT

Price good. 1/4" NPT bad.
On the tank I had IMCO build my returns are 1/2" & the outlet is 3/4".
Like Bob said I would look into having larger bungs welded on.
That will work but as Fiat says, the outlet needs to go put at least a #8 bung in there, preferably a #10!.. Also those vented caps aren't worth shit unless you're running a VDub motor. You will need to add a vent to it!..You can do what I do, I use my old ugly AN fittings and turn them down and take the anno off and make bungs out of them, works bitchin!...
I think ill stay away from these
Anyone have any nice tanks around??
Not that big of deal to have a bung welded in it. But..if you are considering injection or need returns down the road...them Imco pretty much has the market. About a $500 dealio. There is also Moon but sure they are close in price.

Why, you can't beat the price, ain't no big deal to put fittings in!..

Heck just add more bungs, no biggie!..
Thats true, What size do you guys think.......#10 AN for sure??
Whould the old outlet be covered or removed and the new bung placed in the same spot?
When is a return needed??
(this may seem like a stupid question i know, but forgive me, my dad does my rigging, he is the knowedable one, i just pick peoples minds and gather as much info as i can, im still learning)
On fittings.what does a #10 AN correlate to in inches approx?
Fiat said a big 1/2" bung, what is the equivilent in AN fittings
What is the best way to vent the tank without it looking like shit.
Can i still use a vented cap even if i vent the tank somewhere else?
