I assume we are talking about a Holley carb, right? Most Holleys have only the idle adjust screws on the primary side and a fixed idle circuit on the secondary side. 2 screw idle systems are fine for almost all applications.
How many idle mixture screws should there be. I have one on each side of the metering block but the other metering block just has two holes with no screws. Its a dual carb setup and both carbs are like this. Whats the deal?

Yes it is a holley. Forgot to mention that. Is anything supposed to be there. I can't get over having two little holes in each carb.
They're not used on all carbs only carbs with 4 corner idle. Don't sweat it.
