What are the good ones? I would like to run 4 sets of infinity 6.5 mid/hi that are rated at 75 watts rms each. I am also thinking of a hatch up set up where I would have 4 6 x 9 on a seperate amp.

ZAPCO! 360x4 50watts x4 at 4 ohms 90 watts x4 at 2 ohms or go with the 1000x4 150watts x4 at 4 ohms 250watts x4 at 2 ohms With the 1000 watt amp you could run all the speakers from one amp just turn the gain down you would never run out of power.

We use Rockford Amps on most of the amps we build. The new Alpines are pretty nice too. What kind of price range you looking at?

JBL PX 300.4. Reliable, good looking, underrated, clean, highly adjustable, good price per watt.

JL 300/4. They should match up perfectly for those if you are running four speakers.

I would be running a total of 8 seperates and then 4 total of the 6 x 9.

Then I am thinking you are going to need some more amps. If you ran a set off of one channel you would be giving them half of their RMS power. It would still work but would sound better with more amps. I am thinking the same thing with my new set up. I think I am going with 2 300/4 amps for 4 sets (8 total) of highs. And then one amp for the subs.

I'm running 4 sets of 6.5 components on a single 4 channel HiFonics "Zuess" amp, model Z6400. It's rated at 85/channel @4 ohms, or 170/channel @2 ohms, RMS of course. My stuff is wired in parallel so that each channel drives 2 mid/high combos @2 ohms (4 drivers on each channel, 16 total). The amp sounds good and stays cool. Looks nice too. Price was right, about $320 mail order. Also running their single channel class D sub amp (Z1000D) with 2 Kappa Perfect 10s @2 ohms, each getting 375 watts. That amp was about the same price and performs well. They also have all the usual high/low pass filters, inputs/outputs, and other assorted controls to build a whole system off as little as one set of preamp outs.
