Any info for non-clique members?
I'm heading out Martinez April 23/24. I don't have mufflers yet on my 502 thru transom exhaust.
Is there any enforcement there on the noise restrictions?
I can't imagine anyone there going to the measures Havisu is.
Please let me know.
Plus if I go to Havisu, will they fail me visually for not having mufflers, or will they test me?
My exhaust is under water at idle, so I'm wondering if anyone knows if I'll pass or not.

I would think that you would pass if in the water, I can't imagine that it wouldn't
Thanks lightning,
Have you heard of any enforcement activity at Martinez?
J
If you are below the water line, you are probably around 70 dbs at idle. No worries.
I am more worried about a visual check that may be done. Will I fail for simply not having mufflers?

I would think that if your boat has water running through the manifolds (and exits under-water) that should count as a muffling device (I don't think the guys that have through-hub have any other muffling device?)?
Thanks for the response.

I can't recall ever seeing anything being enforced down there......
No enforcement yet on that part of the river, you should be fine...
