    And since the chop ended up being performed in the typical segment fashion. A donor roof is the best way to piece it back together. Found a donor van for $200.00. Brought it back to the shop for some wasteful harvesting. Had the top off before getting the van off the dolly.
    Will also use the RF fender and front valance off of the donor van. Will remove the engine and tranny and send it to the crusher.

    Info;
    Maybe you should do the 2nd shop truck as a cabriolet??
    Doesn't look too bad with no top......

    Well in person it looks a lot like a Hummer. The picture does not do it justice. Look close and the RF door has not been cut yet. And also the LH rear door top has not been split to widen. Posting this pic from a temporary location. Not sure how long it wil last.

    I don't think that will be much of a problem.

    Picked up a 9" but it will require disassembly. Assigned the task to Infomaniac Jr. He required very little guidance but got it done. He suddenly realized there was grease in there.

    A couple more in process disassembly pics. Info Jr. is quite a mechanic despite missing a few digits.

    Some of the tooling used to narrow a rear end. Bushings installed where bearings are normally. A straight ground bar slips through all the bushings to square everything up for welding.

    After very careful measuring and some precise cutting and prep. The tooling holding the cut ends in place to be welded back on.
