Thread: header water problems

    took new /first jet boat out ,getting water out of #2 weep hole while cruzing above 2500rpm tried lowering press ,now 8 psi ,switching lines,nozzels,ck'd bassett tee valve ran out of ideas,need help thanks

    i used to strech the spring out in the t-fitting. more pressure on the check ball slows the water down. or, washers in there to increase spring pressure will work good as well.

    Ditto. Try A new spring. I had the same problem when I bought my boat.

    Does it still come out of the weep holes at higher rpm. Does the engine run well? Hope you don't have a bad cylinder.

    your right 25psi compression on #2 not enough to blow water out header. guess i'll take it apart pretty sure it's rings/piston , compression went up with oil in squirted in it..
