I can't answer that one, but I have alot of good things about MMO and most all of it GOOD!
Sorry, probably the wrong forum for this, but what are the thoughts on using 1 Qt. of Mystery oil in the crancase on a rebuilt 350 in a Suburban? I am thinking about using it after the 500 mile break-in oil change. I always used it in the past but not on anything brand new or rebuilt. Engine builder said no Mobile 1 for the first 12,000 miles, but does not know about the mystery oil.
Thanks
John B.

Well no experience with oil, but I use it in gas and it works great!..
I use MMO too, but I'm not sure I follow the benifit of using it in the crankcase of a new engine, although it probably wouldn't hurt either. You'd do well to ask that question on this site here http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/ , there are some very knowledgable guys about oil on that site.
like art said i put in the av fuel and never had any trouble.

I love it because it keeps the throttle shafts in the injectors and the lines lubricated, and the pump too not to mention valve guides!..
I use it in my C-12. Works good.
Thanks, got more info from the builder, will be using it after the 500 mile oil change.
Have a great day!
Works good in air tools too.
