hard to believe

Pulled up to a signal today and the guy next me says the cockpit cover on my boat blew off a 1/2 mile back. I went up about 1/4 mile to turn around and the thing was gone by the time I got there. What in the hell would somebody pick it up for and why would they drive past me and not give it back? What a waste of money this is going to be, but somebodies lawn mower will stay nice with a 4 color Sunbrella cover that doesn't fit. Just venting.

Actually my secondary cover fits over my truck real nice !!!

Maybe you didn't go back far enough, the guy said "half mile" well that is to him, maybe it blew off 2 miles ago.

he gave me the cross street and I went beyond that several times to look. It was gone in less than five minutes. Just a bummer.
