First thing tomorrow morning I'm going in for surgery on my left shoulder to repair a badly torn labrum and the degenerated AC joint. I'll be off work for about 4 weeks then back to work with some restrictions for another 6 to 8 weeks. I guess I won't be doing any skiing or wakeboarding this season but that's OK, it'll give me more time to work on my 12 ounce curls

Good luck man. Keep us posted. In my professional medical opinion, the one thing you'd better watch with the 12 oz curls is that you don't over develop one arm by favoring it over the one that was cut on. You need to balance them out.
