Can someone give me some advice where to get a good deal on boat insurance for a 600hp plus 21 Daytona jet Any help would be greatly appreciated.

AAA insured my tiwn turbo Schiada. They asked how much horsepower and I played the I don't know card. So I'm in the 330+ hp group. They even took pics of it. My engine has no cover on it with dry pipes sticking out off the turbos. I didn't think they would go for it but they did. I think it only cost around 350 a year.

I have Allstate and I attached it to my home owners. If you own, check that out, it could save you some cash I meen gas.
Jroos, Ive had my 18' carribean with Allstate for the last 14 years, I'm in the process of having a 21" Daytona built with 800+ HP and was trying to be up front with my agent in what I was doing here. So I gave him my info and they wouldn't touch it. They said the main reason its a tunnel hull. Like I said I've owned a performance and had it insured with them for 14 years, along with several other vehicles, a sport bike that runs over a 150 mph, with no claims or tickets. No wonder they call me Fat Rat I'm FED UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanx for your reply
I bet no one will touch it if you tell them it's 800 hp. I played dumb and said it's a 454 chevy and I don't know anything about it. Then I asked them to put me in the highest HP class. Hey, they took pic and the turbo chargers were right in their face. I wounder what they would think if they knew about the 572"s.

Find an agent that will try Progressive for you. And "guess" when discussing HP. No one really knows how much HP they're running, when you get right down to it.
