Hey all, we're going to install a trans temp gauge in my buddies pickup with a 4L80E. Do any of you know a good location to install the temp sensor?
    Thanks

In the return line from the trans cooler. Feel both lines its the cooler of the two. Probably the lower line.

I put mine in the pan. If it is an aftermarket pan they usually have a place for it already or you can drill and tap a hole.
