    Feedback wanted:
Do you use a 12 volt blender, or do you run an inverter? If you are using a inverter how many watts is it?

I tried using a 12v blender but it does NOT get the job done (Big chunks of ice) so I installed a 3000w inverter (w/150amp throughable breaker) to power a Refer (now a modified ice chest), microwave oven and a 110v blender (The Bullet) which makes the smoothest blends. I only power up the sys when needed. It's kind of nice to nuke a hot dog/ pizza for lunch on the water/channel

That there is an impressive set up in a lake/river boat!!!
How do you keep the bottles from banging into eachother?

I use a smaller inverter - says 800 watts, like 400 continous. works perfectly.
It's a Colomn (sp) brand - got it for $50 at Kragen. much better than those 12 volt blenders.
Havasu Lvr - Awesome setup. What kind of boat is that? Did you make the bar setup, or did you have it done when the boat is made?
Any problems so far with bottles breaking?
That would be my dream set up - well, need a larger boat first.

Curtis, I told you that Megan & you can enjoy it anytime you want....we should do a floatilla some day :mix:
69E & CT, thanks, the bottles are secured, there is a top board and each bottle shape is cut out to hold that bottle. I have had it in 3-5' seas to Catalina and 2-4'ers in LHC with no problems at all. This is a 29' Magnatude (Shockwave), I made the bar and installed the microwave. fairly easy except the in & out of the boat for the proper tools, thats is NOT an easy task for my age

My boat came with a buit in blender. It's a Waring 12V, and it does a good job. Nobody has complained yet

Lets see.. we turn the generator on.. and kick up the blender!~~~
Or you can buy the buckets of Margar mix with the spigot.. Pour the tekilla in and put into the cooler.. when it comes time.. just pour it over your ice.. margars on the rocks! :rollside:

That's mine! I use a CO2 tank with a die grinder connected to a fitting trimmed to spin a standard blender pitcher. Works pretty well. It could use a little more top speed to get finer chop on the ice but its good enough. The air tools sounds cool too.
My wifey just got us a "Margarita Ball" on Ebay......you load it up and it kicks out Margarita slurpees all day.....
