I have a 19ft Eliminator daytona, a farely heavy layup and am having a motor built that should make around 750 hp. Had the pump setup by Jack at MPD. With that kind of hp about what kind of mph should i be running?

Robert,I would think mid 90s with a tail wind going down river is doable.Is the engine supercharged?
It had as many C.I. as mine, w/ iron merlins and a .650 roller cam. The GPS read 99 mph after running at that speed for about a mile. Tends to leave a pretty good impression on you!
It was down river....now that I remember so I guess you can scrub off about 4mph. :boxed:

The motor is not supercharged. It is a 468ci bbc. Afr 315cc cnc ported heads. 12.5 to 1 compression. team g single plane manifold with 1150 dominator. solid roller schneider cam with 274 duration intake 284 exhaust at .050, .660 lift. Engine builder said he built a motor similar to this with 10 to 1 compression and a slightly smaller cam that made 710 hp. I would like to run 100 mph, i do have a NOS big shot system for it if it comes down to it. What kind of power does it tak e to run triple digit mph in a boat like mine.
