Price est. for boat name on vinyl

I got a workup on a boat name on high performance vinyl decal for my Sanger Pickle hydro at $265 for both back sides . The size is about 5 " high and 2.5 ' long. Words are in blue with silver outline with a lightning bold at each end. Name is Blue Streak.Is that a good price ?

With all the people who have vinyl cutters now days, seems kind of high. I think you could get it painted on for probably less than half that. I have a local guy in So Cal who could probably do the vinyl much cheaper. Let me know if you would like to have me phone and get a price and email address from him. He has a full time, professional graphics shop for vinyl and T shirts, etc.

seems really hight .....i had a sign company make me two vinal 4 inche names for my old jet last year and it was only 25 bucks or so.

His reply: "That is insane." (As in outrageously overpriced--LO).

That is some nice stuff! It's hard to find some with a multiple color machine that prints it in one shot. Maybe he would like to do our Nostalgia vinyl enblem? We pay $10 each for a 10 inch diameter in one color. I should say I pay it since most of our racers wont advertise our group unless this happens. Too cheap or dont want stickers on their boat. I'm not sure which but maybe both apply.......
