Thread: Leaky power trim rams

I pulled the boat out of the water last Sunday at Windsor and immediately noticed a milky white (water/oil mixture) on the shafts of my power trim. Never noticed it before, it gets wiped down at the end of each day. I immagine there are seals that go around the shaft where it enters the ram. Anyone have this happen and how major is the repair??? It's going in for repair in a couple weeks but I just want to know what to expect. Thanks in advance!

$5 O-ring seal kit each side and very easy to rebuild but you need the custom Merc wench to pull them apart.
