Almost forgot the specs....

91 octane (yes, that's 91!)
and I have to say that those aren't my headers. Dave used old ones to avoid screwing up my new ceramic coated ones.

The clearances are larger than normal. The crank had to be re-ground and re-heat treated. Also, the rod clearances are a little bigger than normal. Dave told me not to worry about it as it's completely normal for this engine, and won't affect reliability.
At first, I was like WTF!?!? But, everything's cool....
Diggler, Congrats on the numers, looks great. What kind of boat will the motor be goin in????![]()
Congrats! Looking good..... (what did I tell ya? haha...)
HBjet
Congrats Diggler!
I remember when you were PMing everyone in town a couple months ago panicing about your choice. Looks like it paid off.So if you don't mind spillin the beans, what was your peak TQ and where did it make it? Oh and one more thing, please tell me this is going in a BIG HEAVY BOAT so I have a chance at beating one of the newer mills out of the DNE doors
Chris
Dirk, good numbers! You already have the engine back in the boat? What impeller did you go with?

The peak torque was somewhere over 750ft-lb, but it was before they started the recording at 5500 rpms, so i'm really not sure. I can't wait to get it out, I'm dying here and they say it's supposed to rain this weekend!!!
