That last i checked joel was the only one doing any MX racing around here. You going to watch or what??
everybody at work has nothing better to do than bitch about something,
I would hate for someone to actually expect me to get something done when I've got important bench racing to do :shift:
Joel and I are headed for the MX track 1st thing in the morning. You want to finally come out and show us up or will you be too busy playing Mr. Mom.

No wonder you get so much shit at work...you need to check in a little more often.
BWAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Quit being such a puss and go with us for once.
(Brown Howards next post will either be "I can't, I have diapers to change" or he'll ignore the invitation again.)

Those who can't stand the heat should stay clear of the oven :notam:...
My buddy has no interest in stepping up anything money related. A trade maybe but having both isn't in the cards.
Myself, I have no interest in a spectra. If I were to go bigger it would be a 20ft Rayson Craft GN 1st or a 21 Schiada 2nd. I have no interest in dropping huge money on a "big, boring everybody has one" offshore boat like Brown Howard did. Its like they're a fad. I'm sure those boats are fun out in the ocean or after they churn Havasu, Mead or Mojave into what resembles the ocean but its not my thing.
Remember when choppers were still cool? Before they went mainstream and became fads. I knew it was over when West Coast chopper shirts were selling at pep boys.
I've ridden in many boats and I prefer the small, quick, agile, 1 of a kind Hot rods for river recreating. Boats with character and originality that you don't find at every corner boat dealership.
Going against the masses forces me to weekday outings but thats ok since I get bored with the status quo and drunken idiots found on an average Friday, saturday or sunday during summer.
And thats how it needs to be done....
Hope I didnt offend anyone (except Brown Howard ).
Exactly why I spent the extra $$ to have my Rayson Craft built!
WORD X2
Jerry, there is a V-Drive cruiser out off of Hwy 26 near my house, sitting in some guys yard behind his barn. Been there for at least 10 years that I can remember. He kind of "collects" stuff - I'll stop and ask him what it would take to get him to part with it.
I stopped in and talked to this guy the other day...........guy is in his 60's and had some stuff in his shop in the back of the property that blew my mind. 2 old flats, both wood decks from the 60s in pretty good condition and an old Sanger Shovelnose Hydro. Belonged to his dad and uncle back in the day and apparently they both raced them in Long Beach a time or two. Off in the corner he had A 65 Corvette (his wifes) and a 41 Coupe. Pristine condition! Off in the other corner he had an AIRPLANE he is building........ he's a retired pilot.
The cruiser is going to his daughter once he gets the time to restore it like he wants to do but he thanked me for stopping and "chatting" and admiring his stuff. You would never know all that stuff was there by the looks of the place from the road........I guess he wants it that way. WOW, what a trip into the past. Of all days to not have my camera......................
