It's probably an aftermarket deal, just measure the dome and get the same thing, motor will have to be balanced anyhow!..
OK I've got some numbers off the piston I'm trying to match, looked around a little but not much luck. 1979 +/- stock bore 454, not sure if they are original pistons :idea:

Think I found it, L2377F, 8.84 to 1 with my 119cc 049 heads. Flat top with 1 valve relief. Our parts supplier at work was able to cross it over. Expensive little biatch for a stock piston :hammerhea

That's because it's a forged piston, nothing like you have!.. :wink:
worst case - to "rig it " buy two have em on the same journel and match weight to the others

The pistons I have may be forged. I need to get a better look at them.
