Well I finally got a look at the Fairlane Wagon. It's not quite a finished as advertised. CAr looks good at 50 feet but has lots of old rust repairs that need to be redone. WHite hides a lot especially at a distance.
Looks like one we had growing up, white with wood grain and a blue interior.
They put a front clip on the car and a Mustang style front end. I didn't care for the way it was done, but not too bad.
Engine ran good, but the electronics are not finished, it's missing some of the sensors and running rich. OBDII codes seem to indicate limp home mode. I thought the engine should have been mounted lower in the chassis and the inner fender wells are MIA, It would be fairly easy to fab the inner fenders with the mustang front end, lots of room.
The guy that has the car bought it partially done with the mustang front end it it, he wasn't sure if the engine would fit with the stock front end.
I decided to pass, do to the condition of the body.
Dropped the damn digital camera, so I've got no pics!!!!
