I'm just curious how many amps does a 1500 watt system pull??? I only have 2 amps, 1 being a zapco 1000.4 and the other a JL 450. Any info would be helpful.

I called today and the Lifeline 8D's cost over 700$ and weigh 160 lbs. The AH appears to be 255.
For four Yellow top Optima batteries it would give you 75 X 4 for 300 AH For the same cost, but it would weigh 240.. Does this seem like a better value? Does amp hours reflect capacity? This is what I seem to understand.
The whole equation comes to capacity + lowest price + chargability = what I will get.
Not sure who you talked to,But cost should be under $400.00
If you decide to go the Lifeline route call the Lifeline in Azuza and ask for Dave.Should be $390.00

I am going to start out with 2 Odyssey 2150's and a charger from West Coast Batteries. Then have a 175 AMP Alternator dopped in @ Quality Power. They are also going to put in a relay that disconnects the cranking battery from the system of the setup while the ignition is off. When it is running, the relay will automatically connect all the batteries to get a charge.
I imagine a generator is in my future, but I will see how this holds up. I hope for 2- 3 hours on the of play time on the shore and hopefully the alternator will take up some slack while cruzzin'. Puttin it in next week. I have to put together the boxes and paint resin on and cover them. Should be hearing it in two Weeks
