I met Don while he was in the Airforce and was engaged to him while he spent a year in Korea. Was tough, but we did it, now 13 years of marriage. I made a visit to Korea for 10 days and had the time of my life. Country is crap and the younger generation does not appreciate us being there. :frown: Riots all the time. He spent 9 1/2 years in, but decided to get out because we wanted to start a family. He loved his job on the f-16's and still gets the chills when he sees them fly over. We met some great people while we were in and still keep in touch. :smile:

Frenchie, those vehicles were called L.A.V.s Light Armored Vehices. Those guys were Marines from Camp Pendletom heading out to 29 palms for training. I got out of the Marines 8 years ago, and I still get motivated when I see those guys!!!
