On my main line coming from the pump I installed a "T" fitting that has one end plugged when not in use. When you need to run some water through remove plug and put on one of those quick connect garden hose fitting's. you need to make sure you hose the inside of your intake and every where else you can think of to get rid all of that corrosive salt http://free.***boat.net/ubb/biggrin.gif

Umm, does the engine have to be running
when I flush it? Still can't decide if that
    is necessary.

Good point Dave, I guess just for the header lines would you need the engine running. With the tee will that ,like backflush the pump?
