Mother f**ker I'm still paying $1.69 a gal for the cheap stuff and we are within 35 miles of the refineries! What a RIP-OFF!
You know it's fall and winter is coming when gas is .87 cents a gallon at the local gas station, and I already tucked the dam boat in for winter...

Mario, you must be in the DFW area, as I heard on the radio of Wally World selling gas for .87 a gallon, you are right it would be a great time to run the gas guzzlers, if the gas nowadays had more longeivity it would be tempting to fill a few 55 gal. drums.
That's what earmuffs and wetsuits are for!! I'll be going to Havasu as soon as my boat's back in commission. Whiskey, beer and a wetsuit will keep me warm. Not to mention my girl!!!
460, It was 85 here in central Texas today, I don't think a wetsuit would work, but the girl thing is o.k. anytime, our deer season starts this Sat. camo shorts and umbrellas are the uniform for this kind of weather, great for work but not good for the critters.
Squirt, the reg. out in the valley is at $1.35 a gal. It would almost be worth the trip with a bunch of cans! Everything in the bay area is a rip-off, that's why I came out here! http://free.***boat.net/ubb/biggrin.gif
Take it easy,
John
