Thinking of headed out there never been there before.Is there any camping nearby or there.or where to stay.

Lostlake does have camping not sure of the price, young crowd great party. As for other places to stay I'm not to sure. I stay up river at Big River about a 20 min. boat ride. They dont have tent camping, but it's a great family camp ground.
I will also be there of the races on Sat. night. Let mw know if your going to be there, alway like meeting others from the boad.

Charger, if you haven't made resv's by now you are probably SOL. They let you camp in the "back" or on the "golf course" but there is no water, little shade, dusty as all get out, and a long trek to the can. Last time I was there (2 yrs ago) there was heavy police presence due to thefts and such but it didn't bother me. But, good water and lots of fast boats in the evening make up for it. Just get your boat launched early!
