I am going to buy a stud girdle in the next 2 days. What are the pros and cons? Who makes the best? What is the worst?

Here is what I have came up with. The "solid bar" design appears to be much nicer and durable. Here are some pics of different brands....The first 2 sets look better than the last two. pic #2 is comp and pic#4 is jomar. The others are off brand.

I didn't run one on the last set-up but I'm going to need one on my new set-up. Hopefully some people will respond to what brands they prefer....

I prefer the 2 or 4 bar design myself but they all do the same job, 2 bar would include Probe or Webster, 4 bar would include Crane, Jomar pro-series(Crower, Lunati and BTE is same unit), Herbert (Crane copy) or Howard. I have Probe girdles with Jomar nuts and it's fine, any of these will be more accurately made than the stud location on your factory heads, stay away from the import crap and I'm sure you'll be happy.
Perhap as important as the girdles, get studs that are made for use with girdles, I went with Manley's (ARP's are too proud of theirs IMO).
