the pistons are a dish type, the grind # on the cam is (ff 312ah-10)
    jet boat with a/b impeller,rough idle, 108 lobe seperation,try p/n 311-4,msd has a selectable rev limit set @6400
How big of a dish ??? Which version of th SCJ head did you get ??? There are there combustion chamber sizes.
I did a search on Comp just using the 311-4 and it came up with these two choices.

Sorry Tyson with a closed engine compartment the US Coast Guard requires a Marine Carb. Summit does not sell the Demon in Marine, Jeg's is your line on that.

Gregr , the 850 holley marine carb has 88 primary 94 secondary jets , 6.5 PV . Your jets seem small for your carb . Boat the size of yours would be better with a "AA" impeller ,providing you have min 450 HP.

Take a look at this cam. what do you think, is it too big ???
260* at .050, Hmm what is that, about 310 to 320 ??? For a boat that size I would think that 230 to 245 would be about max. He tried a 750 it helped a little. I don't believe his main concern is the carb right now. I think it's picking the right cam for the application.
    Just my thoughts.

I think the cam is too big . 230- 240 @ 0.050 , around 560 lift would be right for a heavy cruiser.
