Fleming Meadows is the best place to camp. Here is their website: http://www.donpedrolake.com/Camping_Home.aspx

Thanks US...do they also allow you to leave your boat in the water overnight?
We were just up there two weeks ago picking up our new boat. The lake looked really good but we did not run it.
E4L, I wish I had know you were up there. When I saw the Turlock exit, I told Jason "I KNOW some from the boards lives here" Owell, maybe next time.

When my boys get a little older, we'll do the houseboat gig. For now, we'll have to content ourselves with the campsites. :mix: Thanks for advice on Fleming Meadows. I'm going to make reservations this morning.
Current water level is 809 above sea level. The lake is supposed to hit 828 by the end of June and hold that level til the end of August. Thats just 2 feet short of the 830 max level. Here's the link:

Sometimes it's a few days behind. I was there over the weekend and couldn't keep the houseboat beached cuz the water was rising fast.
Gonna be a glorious summer.
