Nope. He is still building motors. He has my 500" Schmidt Pro Gas motor there now doing some work on it. I also recommend his work.

Ron and Joey Grose had a split up and closed the doors last winter.
I did speek to Joey a few months ago, and he said he will be working at another shop across town. He also refered Kevin @ Canyon Boats for anyone looking for old Grose Racing boat hardware.

There's a guy named Mike Lewis in Laytonville. Now this guy knows his shiot, but he's not cheap. Has a house in the foot hills, and has a complete, and I mean complete machine shop in his back yard, including Win/Van Norm. digital balancer, CK10, BHJ Block Tru decking machine, Serdi head machine, complete flow bench equip...the works.
