My husband an I grew up in San Diego & South OC, then moved to Temecula for better housing prices. 2 years ago we moved to Havasu - No regrets, we love living out here. We figured why pay 2 house payments, we spent the whole week dying to get back to Havasu for the weekend...so we figured wtf go for it. We sold our little vacation home for 100K profit and bought a new 2700 sf house in Feb 05 for 495K with a lake view, boat garage and RV parking. Just appraised this month for 619K - what more could you ask for? Even SoCal can't beat that in just 3 months - Gotta love it!!
