    Chris's "Poker Run Edition" I was in is a very light boat with no interior to speak of forward of the cabin door. It's basically the sister boat of the F-11 2750 race boat. I do not know what prop they were spinning. We were on Mead, and I think we were 84-85 with the 4 of us on board. I don't know what our fuel load was, but I think it was closer to full than empty.
    With an open-bow, you're probably going to be very close to 80 IMO, with good conditions. 2750 hard-deck seems to be a better running boat than the open-bow, probably mainly because it has better CG. It's such a close call though, that I think it's a good bet. .....and make no mistake, when it's time for me to step up to a longer boat, it'll be the 2750!!!

    [QUOTE=WILD LAVEY]im spinning a 26.
    I just put a 26 on my 24 Nuera w/ a 496 HO and gained 2 mph to 71.6 mph. The 24 was hitting the rev limter with 1/4 of the throttle left. Who knows what it'll do when its laved.

    The one I saw looked like a pleasure version. That fast bottom must make it tough to beach at the Turtle, though.

    That's the fully enclosed Super Vee Limited boat. Jeff showed me the plug for the top when I was there in March. I don't remember the time frame, but I'd guess it'll be racing next season, or perhaps in the fall. I really like the lines of the boat and long deck. The rules of Super Vee Limited call for the cockpit to be fully enclosed. They are using another builders roof/enclosure system (I can't remember who's off-hand), but it's been incorporated into the new 32 beautifully. The deck is long and looks awesome.
