Chris's "Poker Run Edition" I was in is a very light boat with no interior to speak of forward of the cabin door. It's basically the sister boat of the F-11 2750 race boat. I do not know what prop they were spinning. We were on Mead, and I think we were 84-85 with the 4 of us on board. I don't know what our fuel load was, but I think it was closer to full than empty.
With an open-bow, you're probably going to be very close to 80 IMO, with good conditions. 2750 hard-deck seems to be a better running boat than the open-bow, probably mainly because it has better CG. It's such a close call though, that I think it's a good bet. .....and make no mistake, when it's time for me to step up to a longer boat, it'll be the 2750!!!

Was that on a GPS or reg. speedo?

I got the 525 on my 2750 open bow spinning a 26 and I'm seeing pretty close to 77 mph with almost 100 gal. of fuel, 4 adults and 3 children and still had a little more rpm to play with. Didn't want to push it with the kids in the boat even though the ride was smooth. Do you recommend sizing up on the prop?

try a 28, 26 is too small for the 525 imo.
burleyl, you missed the slight hint of sarcasam from HH.
