My dad spent 4 hours just grinding and scraping away at his brass bushing, trying to get it out. He finally got it out. He used the trick from Rex to get the new fiber bushing in and it worked like a champ. I have a fiber bushing also, Rex said to cut it in half and use half on each end. I am going to be doing this soon and was just wondering if there is an easier way to get the brass bushing out? I was thinking of an air saw with a thin bit and kind of cutting it away, but I dont want to cut the strut at all.
Thanks.
