Hi,
I just finished a transom/engine/jet drive/electrical/major overhaul of a Wreidt Spoiler.
then I stumbled upon this in the forums:
"Ive worked on three different Wriedt Spoilers, they all had major hook in them. the glass fuel tank in the nose, will rupture and full the hull with fuel, if you catch it early enough you may be spared the grief. The is a small resivor on the top of the tank, that fills when the vent or fill hose leak. Oh one more thing, don't remove the bow support under the dash, it needs it! other than that they are 55-60mph boats with 400hp."
what do I look for so this doesen't happen to me? also, what does "major hook? mean?
I am a novice hear, so go easy on me.
I am also looking for any info on these boats? were they junk? They seem to be pretty rare?
thanks
Josh
