Charley- the water was real lumpy untill across from sandpoint around that bend as you head for the water pipes on the cali. side.Just ask Pegged what it was like. 29 0r 32-it won,t make any difference as long as they are 8.5 feet wide and have two grenades on the back for out drives.I was real impressed with krozzins wide body 36 as he was handeling the lumpy water as good or better than we were.
Thats exactly what I was saying.... a 29' or 32' x 9' wide boats only chance in that field is to start in first and never get passed.... even in front it would require perfect water in front of the pack to allow a 29' boat to run huge numbers for that long a distance ..... totally unlikely and pretty foolish too assume such water exists on a summer saturday on havasu.... I did speak with Mr Teague after the Poker run and he said he thinks his boat can run 165mph.... wow....Thats both impressive and frightening :jawdrop: .....
BtW Congrats Gary I'm just playing devils advocate, you obviously made it to the 1rst Card stop first so you deserve The High 5
