Dude, seriously, relax.
Dude, seriously, I'm just kidding.
:notam:
HH... what are you running in the beast?
A couple of big group 31's that came with it. Apparently...weight is not an issue in a 10,000 lb. boat. :notam:
On a side note...I don't think you could go wrong with either. How big are you going on the stereo?

I run 2 odessey 2150's for the stereo & 1 odessey 1200 as an emergency starter. Hands down a better battery with a longer warranty.

How is your hearing these days? So you're gonna draw a couple hundred amps, eh?
Better just get a loooooong extension cord.
I shouldn't have to be an engineer to put a battery charger on my rig.
Dude, I am an engineer and I'm not sure of the proper charging techs for Optimas.. I am in the same boat about which batts to buy..thanks for the link HH..

Geez... I'm planning on more than one batt!
Nonetheless, it'll be better if you'd just follow me around. Note to self: Buy extra large fenders.
You probably won't have the discharge problems I have/had with mine. I would say either battery would be fine, but I still recommend the Odyssey from personal experience.
I'm running a Soundstream VGA800.2 @ 2 ohms, a VGA600.2 @ 2 ohms mono and a pair of Kicker SX1250.1s @ 2 ohms mono. I have like 100 lbs in amps. :rollside:
Brilliant!!!!

I would say that we could just use mine...but I know how you DCB guys are about having "non-DCB" stuff touch your boat.
I just installed two Odyssey 1700 T's with the billet holddowns last weekend. Haven't been on the water since but man do they look good.
