Bob, New boat all the way around. 21' Aftershock with 350 merc my first real boat. Had one 20 odd years ago when I got out of the Navy (17' Glastron with a small outboard).
wantacat..I like Silverwood. Real close for me about 30 mins to the water. Gets windy in the afternoon sometimes. Kinda of small, Compare to Elsinore or Perris the water is clean and does not leave a ring around the boat :jawdrop: , and smells like water. Overall for a week day escape I would say it's OK.

Where in Hesperia are you??? maybe we could meet at silverwood some day...are there still alot of "floaters" on the water from the fires?
