That's big $$$ upgrade. I would assume the insurance would be a deal killer for me - it has to be a few grand a year if not more. I think the new house is going to end up putting this on hold for a while - unless of couse I sell the place at the river hmmm...

INsurance around 4K a year give or take what coverage you choose
I pay just over 3k. I'm an old guy. Over 40. 4 months of lay-up and 2 tickets. I've talked with some guys paying less than 3k for the same type boat.
