And to add insult to injury. He bailed out and left her in the pokey all night.
I always love it when the dude bails himself out and leaves wifey or sweetie in the can! Ain't love grand!!!
You need you own forum, where you could post your most exciting/stupid people arrests for the day.....

Didn't know there was one.
Nothing in the papers about any major accidents this weekend.
Water was rough down in Parker yesterday and windy. I made a dam run at 6:30 and pulled boat out by 9:00 am. My poor little jet was getting hammered and even the larger yachts were getting lots of air time. Other than that it seemed like a mild holiday crowd. Did observe some people that don't drive boats so well though.

Thanks!

Are you talking about right at the mouth of the channel by Thompsons Bay? It looked like every boat cop was beached there working on that guy. The FD had to catch a ride from another boat to get across the channel quicker. I pulled up right as they were getting there, but didn't know what happened or heard anything else about it.

That was probably it then. I saw him right after they got him to shore. They had the ventilator bag out trying to breath for the guy. I wonder why it wasn't in the paper at all though? Maybe he made it.

One can only hope.

2 more!
1st.
Guy gets stopped about 1:40 AM. Doesn't want to get an OUI, so in the middle of the FSTs, he bails over the side, swims to the California side and disappears into the night. We find out where he's camped. (La Paz Park) and we impound his boat, trailer and tow vehicle (Abandoned Property).
We ID'd him from a ticket he got a couple of weeks ago in Henderson at the Station Casino for urinating in public (drunk).
He shows up at 5:30 AM at the Fire Station to turn himself in.
What was going to be a misdmeanor OUI, now turns into 2 Felonies, and enough evidence from the FSTs to get the OUI anyway.
2nd.
Guy driving his boat through the Keys late at night towing about a dozen peoples on a big tubey thing. Not going fast, just idling. Driver was (reasonably) sober. Technically the same as "skiing after sunset", but we give him a walk since the intent of that law is so the skier isn't dropped in the middle of the lake to get run over by other boats.
One obnoxious drunk (says he is a former cop) was giving my Officer a hard time, ragging on him real bad, until the driver finally yells at him to shut up, before he (the driver) gets about a dozen citations.
No cites given. The name are with held to protect the guilty. (They can tell you the story themselves. :hammerhea
