A imp at 5500 rpm's takes roughly 525 HP, AA imp at 4700 takes roughly 391 HP. Actual speed would depend on hull weight and efficiency, etc.

On my Taylor, since a 5300RPM "A" registered 72mph, a 5500 RPM "A" would be arround 75 to 78 MPH I believe, ASSuming minimum wear ring blowby. That's an 18', 2,000 lb shallow-V hull. Your results would be different in anything but an identical hull setup.
I've rebuilt my 454 and uprated her to about 400HP from 330 (cam & intake mainly, headers next winter) and keeping the Nitrous that had me at 72. Why, "Not Fast Enough"! I had a FEW lice able to run with me and more than a few ?rop jobs challenging me closely lately. NO MORE!
